About Me
I have resided on the West Shores for more than twenty years. During this time, I have witnessed various Board Members take office and depart. There were numerous proposals when the SCSD possessed eight powers bestowed by LAFCO. Currently, the SCSD retains only two powers: Sewer and Recreation.
As a dedicated member of the West Shores community, I am running for a position on the Salton Community Services District (SCSD) with a commitment to bringing our community’s voice to the forefront. The SCSD is pivotal in managing essential services like sewage treatment and recreational facilities.
With my background as an inspector and carpenter, I understand the intricacies of infrastructure and the importance of well-maintained public spaces. My goal is to ensure that every decision made reflects the needs and wishes of our residents. I believe in transparent governance and the power of community involvement in shaping our future.
When you vote by mail or at the polls this November, your support for me is a step towards a more inclusive and responsive SCSD.
Don’t forget to engage with our shared vision by liking my page and following me on social media. Together, we can build a Salton City that truly represents us all.
My candidate’s statement:
As a resident of West Shores, I am committed to enhancing our community’s well-being. With your support, I aim to contribute to the following key areas:
Infrastructure Improvement:
I will advocate for modernizing our sewage systems, ensuring efficient waste management, and maintaining clean water sources.
Let’s invest in recreation facilities that promote health, fitness, and community bonding.
Environmental Stewardship:
I believe in sustainable practices. Let’s protect our unique environment around the Salton Sea.
Community Engagement:
I value transparency and collaboration. I’ll actively engage with residents, listening to your concerns and ideas.
Together, we can create a vibrant community where everyone feels heard and included.
Emergency Preparedness:
Safety is paramount. I’ll support emergency response planning, ensuring our community is resilient during crises.
Accountability and Fiscal Responsibility:
Transparency in financial matters is essential, and I’ll keep you informed.
Vote for progress, vote for community-driven leadership. Together, we can build a stronger West Shores Community Together. I ask for your vote in the November 2024 election.
